The Story

The year 1990 remains one of the most important in German football history. Under the management of Franz Beckenbauer, West Germany lifted the FIFA World Cup in Italy, defeating Argentina 1–0 in the final.

The squad featured some of the greatest players of the era and produced one of the most iconic football kits ever created. Adidas training wear and leisurewear from this period shared the same distinctive design language and has become increasingly collectable amongst football shirt enthusiasts.

Unlike replica shirts, far fewer sweatshirts and training garments were produced and even fewer survive today in wearable condition, making original examples particularly desirable.
